Digital Speech Processing

Since 1975, ARCON Corp. has been actively involved in digital speech communications technology ranging from signal compression and packet-switched voice communications to secure digital voice communications. This work has been conducted in two major areas. The first is research and development on low-rate digital voice coders operating in high acoustic noise environments. The second is the subjective evaluation of the performance of digital voice communication systems. As a result of ARCON's extensive experience with both military and commercial systems, ARCON enjoys a position on the forefront of secure communications technology which is playing an increasingly significant role in all types of voice communications.
