In conjunction with Rome Labs / Information Security Technology Office (RL/ERC-1), ARCON Corporation served as the Test Director and Host Laboratory for the DoD Digital Voice Processing Consortium's (DDVPC) selection of a new 2400 bps Voice Coder Federal Standard. In preparation for the DDVPC selection effort, ARCON completed a comparative study of subjective quality measures. The report, "A Systematic Investigation of the Mean Opinion Score (MOS) and the Diagnostic Acceptability Measure (DAM) for Use in the Selection of Digital Speech Compression Algorithms" is available in DRAFT form.
